A few weeks ago we gave away our double pram to some friends who are pregnant with twins. We totally did not want them to buy it from us and it felt so good just to bless them as there are so many expenses they will have in the next few months having to buy 2 of so many things.
Anyway I had totally forgotten about the pram (just glad to finally move it from out of our garage!) when last night my husband came home with a box of balloon flowers as well as a whole bunch of gift cards... a Village cinema movie voucher, Myer card, Bunnings card and Westfield gift card. Our friends, knowing that we would not accept their cash, had gone and organised a "movie/shopping spree" night for us! This was so unexpected, I was in shock but I was reminded that God loves to bless us when we give cheerfully. If we give with a grudge or with grief over lost dollars, it's just not the same. After initially being a bit mad that they'd given us so much I realised that it was okay to be gracious and accept what they'd felt was the right thing to do in return for the pram. So that's my grat for today...for an unexpected blessing- so Westfield shopping centre, here we come!!!
